Jim Jesson about his book: Here's ten short detective and mystery stories from detective Jim. We sat down with the intention to write about JJ's first homicide investigation, and needing a break from all the details, we started writing about many other investigations he was involved with. Being a big city police turned private detective, the cover was easy to come up with. We struggled with keeping the book in first tense but coming up with all the stories was easy and there are a few hundred more if time permits. Being his editor, I remember riding around with JJ as a kid. He would take me with him on many investigations and talk to me about why he went here or there and tell me why he was using my glow chalk in one case, purple dye in another... back in the 60's... We've learned much from writing this first book. People from all walks of life enjoy the fun, light, yet intriguing detective and mystery stories. Thanks to the readers for the accolades so far. At 86, JJ has many more stories and we're on to the second casebook.

Other book by Jim Jesson
I have read all of Jim Jesson's books and found them to be interesting and entertaining. The books are clean and can be read by anyone at any age. The stories are entertaining and make for some good laughs as well.
Excellent Short Stories Great for a Coffee Table
This set of stories was really enjoyable to read. The stories don't have all the hyped-up nonsense, violence, super-spy outlandishness that so many books today contain. These are more like the Sherlock Holmes stories that keep the reader captivated and are simply fun to read. Highly recommended! 5 stars.
Great book and lots of fun
This is a really fun book to read and I really enjoyed it. It is easy reading and keeps the reader interested. In fact, it is good for any age, as my 11 year old son read it and loved it so much he brought it to school to let the teachers read it. His teachers now want copies!
