Christina Taylorabout this book: Unlike other memoirs, 'A Woman's Courage' is a collection of my actual journal entries, spanning a three period during the late 1990's when I was first diagnosed with clinical depression. Poetry, raw emotion, abnormal behaviour, family secrets and more, are all revealed to the reader, along with practical tips on how to detect depression in others, in self, what family and friends can do and what the depressed person can do to help themselves out of the 'black hole' of depression.
My book has already helped many people with their depression. I have included some of the feedback I have received so far, below.
• "Congratulations on your bravery in speaking out on depression - the world needs more people like you. If we all talked about it more and acknowledged that it is real and common a lot of progress could be made."
• "I sat and read it all at once very good read as I can relate to a lot of the emotions and feelings you go through with depression. I hope you have another book on the cards."
