Ed Hallidayabout this book: Like all Ed Halliday stories, this is dark humour at it's blackest and funniest. Murder and mayhem ensue as once again you have the opportunity of following Thomas Hardy (who is anything but a famous writer) as he attempts to come up with yet another novel. While trying his hand at producing romantic fiction, he decides to use the woman next door as the basis of a character. Unfortunately she is a far more intriguing and dangerous character than Tom could have imagined! While clumsily doing his research, Tom falls into the middle of a brutal turf war between two of London's ruthless crime families. With a price on his head, he hides once again in a sleepy village in the South of France, but it doesn't stay sleepy for long!
Let me assure you that despite the title, no animals were harmed in the writing of this book.
Although this is the sequel to "The Almost Perfect Plot" it has been deliberately written so that it can be enjoyed as a stand alone book.
