Susan Roebuckabout this book: Hewhay Hall is about the plight of unsung heroes - those brave people who help society and never receive their rightful recognition.
Hewhay Hall is a horror/dark fantasy book about a fire-fighter called Jude Elliot who has lost a leg during a terrorist attack. He seeks out Hewhay Hall to find a miracle to help him regain his health, instead he finds a cruel demon who has been unleashed on the world and who feeds off brave souls because their brave suffering is so much sweeter to this monster. The demon, who can change form to attract the victim, has thousands of unsung heroes incarcerated. Can Jude Elliot help them escape so they can find their rightful way home?
My first book Perfect Score was an LGBT suspense/romance about injustice, and Hewhay Hall also has this theme running through it.
Hewhay Hall (look at the name of the Hall backwards for a clue) is a finalist in the 2013 EPIC e-book Awards in their Horror section (winners will be announced in Vancouver in March 2013).
