Book: Blood & Water by Stuart Edmond

Stuart Edmondabout this book: Blood And Water is a story about families and the ties that bind them. Detective Inspector Christina Blake is a dedicated officer in Scotland Yard's Organised Crime Command, but she's also a woman with a secret, one that could destroy everything she's fought so hard to build.
When the body of a teenage prostitute turns up on the streets of London's East End, Christina comes face to face with a ghost from her past. Can she track down a killer while keeping the truth about who she is from being exposed?
Like most of the stories I write this developed from a single scene that popped into my head. The image was so vivid I knew I had to get it down and it became the final chapter of the book. From there the rest of the story fell into place around it.
• "With Blood and Water, Stuart Edmond has created a crime novel that turns convention on its head and glues the reader to the page. With a backdrop of crime and conspiracy in seedy London, the story takes on the parallel paths of organized crime and the coppers who pursue them"
