Christy Summerlandabout this book: Like Dark Minds is the story of a young woman on the edge, who is forced to learn to trust again in order to survive a sadistic killer. As the world seems to explode around her she finds out who she can count on and who she can't thanks to a good friend, a loving aunt, and FBI agent Gina Cessario, who appears at exactly the right moment.
This book was written during the worst time of my life as a catharsis toward my own rebuilding after losing my mother to ALS. The relationship between Kasey Laughton and Gina Cessario was not just a plot point, but also a way for me to iron out my own issues. It allowed me to sort some things out while finding a new area of inspiration and creativity.
The book should be for just about anyone, but primarily for those who can appreciate a thriller with two strong gay characters. I want to thank everybody who chooses to read it, and I hope you join me in the future.
