Book: Keep on Running by Ben Coultercategories: Book, Drama, Thailand, Action, Buddhism, Crime Thriller
Ben Coulterabout this book: Keep on Running is about a man on the wrong side of the law and on the run from it, in Thailand. Whilst struggling with bad mistakes from his past, he is also learning valuable lessons for the future.
• What inspired you to write this book?
My time in Thailand, 3 months, prompted me to write this book. There's a feeling in the air there, that does not exist (that I've found) in The West. I wanted to place a criminally minded socio-path into that environment and completely spin him on his head, so he questions everything he's ever known and taken as truth.
• Who are the primary readers of your book?
This book is aimed at people who like crime thrillers, but are also interested in spirituality and drama. Also drug addiction and learned behaviours, such as violence.
• How long did it take to write it?
It took around six months to write.
• Did you do research for your book?
My research for the book came from spending time in Thailand and Laos. And also plenty on research from books and the internet for certain subjects, such as the famous Thai prison Bang Kwang and the correct way of smoking opium.
