Dave Lewisabout this book: Ctrl-Alt-Delete is the original cyber-stalking Facebook murder mystery. It's basically a love story played out over four months in various locations around south Wales. As well as being a writer I'm also an IT professional and am often amazed at what people will reveal about themselves online. This is a book for everyone who uses the internet or social media sites. I researched it for over two years before taking a year to write it. It was published in 2011. The title is from the keys used to restart or bring up Task manager on an IBM PC.
The words also relate to the action / characters in the book - i.e. 'Ctrl' refers to the control certain characters have over others, the 'Alt' refers to the alternative lifestyles online, and the 'Delete' refers to the murders. The cover is from an old photograph I took which sums up our lust for instant gratification (no more so than online). All my books are enjoyable to write because I say what I want rather than what the mainstream media wants, although the editing of any book is a pain ;) I want to inform, entertain and educate my readers.
