Diane O'Tooleabout this book: Rings of Smoke is about a serial killer who targets young females (mostly teenage girls) he doesn't have a sexual motive; his reason is to torment and ultimately destroy the girls mothers. His hatred of mothers is born out of his loathing of his own mother who has made his life a misery and, he believes, is responsible for the untimely death of his father.
Readers of my book are primarily fans of crime thrillers. Rings of Smoke has been described as being disturbingly compelling and an awesome read. One reviewer described how he couldn't wait to get home from work each evening to continue reading Rings of Smoke. He stated that he was really shocked and surprised by the fact that the book's author was a female.
I have just issued the third edition of Rings of Smoke and I have to say in all honesty it is a vastly improved edition. I have learnt so much about the art of writing since I first published Rings of Smoke and I can say that I am quite proud of my work now. I do believe that Rings of Smoke is a truly enjoyable read and one that will take the reader through many twists and turns culminating in an explosive finish.
