Michael Pearson

Author Michael Pearsonabout this book: Murder In the Highest is a crime thriller that centers around a terrorist plot to assassinate a political candidate. The story takes place at the height of a tense and heated Presidential race. The hero, FBI agent Allen Seasons, must try to stop this dangerous terrorist group, before they complete their mission.

This story is a novelette, inspired by the Alex Cross series of crime thrillers by James Patterson. I spent a good part of this past summer working on the story. I actually tweaked the concept from another short story that I had previously written and published.

I found Murder In the Highest to be both fun and difficult to write. I loved writing the action and villains, but also struggled somewhat (at times) with the length - this is my first fiction piece longer than a true short story.

Murder In the Highest is meant to be a fun and enjoyable read. I hope you like it!
