Andrew Scorahabout this book: Jimmy Dalton suffers a breakdown when his squad is attacked in Afghanistan; he is medically discharged and returns home to Hackney in London. Nothing has changed since he left fifteen years ago, still under the iron grip of gangland. Phil Duggan, the psychotic Don of Dons, an old school gangster still harking back to the days of the notorious Kray Twins, coerces Dalton into rescuing his daughter from the Russian Mafia who have kidnapped her because Duggan owes them money, along the way revelations are made, leading Dalton to go after Duggan with a fury that will turn the streets red with blood.
I wanted to write a book which I would like to read, that is how this book came about, a book with plenty of action, and comes across like a film playing in your mind. It took about two months to write, and even though I did not think of a target audience, Homecoming Blues has been read and enjoyed by a wide range of age groups. If you purchase this e-tome, I hope you enjoy it and take it for what it is, a bit of escapist fun.
