Book: The Road to Justice - A John Fowler Novel by David Carnercategories: Book, FBI, John Fowler, Redemption, Series, Crime Mystery
David Carnerabout this book: A year ago I sat down to write a murder mystery. I had an outline and I began to follow it. What appeared on the page was horrible. I threw it all out and sat for a minute thinking, "What now?" Was I beat before I even began. I decided I needed a main character, and for the time being, I gave him what my pen name was going to be, John Fowler. From that moment on, it was like he was telling me his story, and I was simply telling it to the reader.
This guy sits in my house, or at work, or in the car beside me at all times. Sometimes he speaks, and sometimes he doesn't say anything. Sometimes it comes through so loud, it's all I can think about, and sometimes it's so soft I can barely make out what he said. Why do I write? Because I have no idea what is going to happen next and I want to find out, just like you.
