• Write about the benefits your book offers to its readers!
My book showcases a crime from an introspective manner. When human beings look at problems or things we wish to solve – we all comment life gets in the way. This book shows how one person in a stressful job can overcome the past, force change and make a difference. Like the tagline for the book states: "Sometimes your worst enemy is yourself."
• What inspired you to write this book?
I had a nightmare about my family being gone and I was alone with no one to lean on or talk to. That led me to write snippets that turned into a novel. Like in the forward, the worst sound to me is silence and that was all I had in my nightmare.
• How did you come up with the title?
Steel is one of the strongest metals, but it can also be heated to manipulate it. You can add things to it to make it stronger or weaker. Jasmine Steele is the same. Family and friends make her a stronger person, but she needed the Resolve to fight against those same things that weaken her.
• What was the hardest part of writing your book?
Chapter 8 was emotional for me. It has a good amount of my fears buried beneath the words.
• Did you do research for your book?
I have a Master's Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice so I am pretty well versed in psychological issues. Beyond that, the internet and my old text books came in very handy.
• What do you want to say to your readers?
Thank you for making the investment in a new author. I know it is a gamble to read new things from unknown people, but the fact that any of you read my book… means a lot. I hope that my book entertained you and made you feel it was worth it.
