Karen Musser Nortmanabout this book: With increasing awareness of 'Stranger Danger,' many parents have tried to protect their children with code words and a plan of action. 'Blue Coyote' is one such code word, but unfortunately, Taylor Trats' parents trained her with a plan that didn't go far enough.
"The Blue Coyote" is the second book of the Frannie Shoemaker Campground Mysteries. In this cozy mystery, retirees Frannie and Larry include their two grandchildren, Sabet and Joe, on a camping trip with their friends to Bluffs State Park. When Larry is suspected in the disappearance of another little girl from the campground, Frannie tries to protect his reputation as retired cop, scoutmaster, father and grandfather; maintain a normal fun weekend for the kids; and solve the crime. A flea market, storyteller, marshmallow guns, and a junkyard add to the fun and/or mystery. The book includes camping hints and recipes at the end of each chapter.
"The Blue Coyote" is an IndieBRAG Medallion honoree and a finalist in the Chanticleer CLUE Awards.
