Amy Metzabout this book: A bank robbery in 1932 sets events in motion that will ultimately lead to a tragic end to John Hobb's life. When he's found murdered in his car on a cold night in 1935, there are no suspects and no leads. It was a perfect murder except for one key piece of evidence that remained hidden for seventy-five years; evidence the killer's grandson promised to find and destroy. Unfortunately, he's all hat and no cattle, and the evidence isn’t found until Tess Tremaine moves to town.
In 2010, when Tess settles into her new home, she becomes curious about the mysterious key she finds. Learning of the seventy-five-year-old unsolved murder of the former owner of her house, her curiosity is peaked. Her discovery of the key and subsequent investigation attracts the unwanted attention of two men in town—-one who only wants her, and one who only wants her dead.
Murder & Mayhem In Goose Pimple Junction is a humorous mystery about the quirky residents of a small southern town who quickly adopt Tess as one of their own. She moves to town intending to settle into a quiet, unobtrusive life. Instead, her life becomes obtrusive and anything but quiet as she learns how to laugh, love, and live again. When she attempts to solve a puzzle and find a killer, she finds mystery, murder and mayhem.
