Melinda Craigabout this book: My novelette, Dangerous to the Touch, is focused on wrestling with a past that haunts the MC's present. She's forced to turn an ugly ability into something she can make a living off of, pushing her to a breaking point late at night when she tries to sleep. This story is a mixture of suspense and a touch of humor that I hope puts a smile on the readers face.
Like most of my short stories, they won't leave until I write them down. Dangerous to the Touch evolved into a series (in progress), since I couldn't stop writing about my main character once I finished the first book (I had way too much fun forming Lindsey's personality).
My goal, with any story is to let the reader experience a fun and interesting story that sucks them in enough to take them somewhere else...and hopefully make them want to read more. All of my stories and works in progress can be found on my website: melindacraig.com.
