Dianne Harmanabout this book: A modern day West Coast Woodstock. What do mollies, Fireball whiskey, and food trucks have in common? Murder, for one.
There are several suspects and Marty-art appraiser extraordinaire-who lives in a desert compound with three others (one of whom is a chief suspect in the murder)-is bound and determined to find the real killer. Her police detective fiance does help a bit as does her psychic sister. So who is the killer? It's not the one you'd suspect! Lot's of good food in this one-and the recipes are at the end of the book!
And not to be forgotten is the black Labrador retriever who wears pink booties, refusing to put his paws on the hot desert earth!
The idea for the book came about a few months ago when I was at my physical therapist's office for a little back tune-up. I overheard several other clients having a conversation about an upcoming music festival being held in the desert. I became acquainted with mollies and Fireball whiskey from talking to them. The rest just evolved!
