Book: Trust Me (Holton Series) by B. L. Blaircategories: Book, Adult, Trust Issues, Small Town, Contemporary Romance
B. L. Blairabout this book: Trust Me is the third book in the Holton Romance Series. It is the story of Rachel and Paul. Paul has been betrayed by too many women so he is reluctant to trust anyone. Rachel has her own demons to fight and hides her looks behind drab clothes and ugly glasses.
Paul is everything that most women would want. Rich, handsome, successful. Rachel is attracted but knows it could never last. Rachel is different from a lot of women. Not worried about her appearance, intelligent, and self-assured. Paul is intrigued but doesn't think he can trust her.
I wrote this book because these two characters were so appealing to me. Rachel appears in the first and second book. Paul appears in the second. Their story just had to be told.
The story takes place around the time of the wedding of the two main characters from Notice Me. This gives the readers a chance to revisit old friends; however, this book is a standalone novel and may be read without reading the others.
