Rachel E. Riceabout this book: Jackson Van Hughes was a cocky handsome football jock and millionaire playboy until he met Summer. When he first laid eyes on Summer he was a senior in high school. He thought it was a childhood crush, but Summer knew that she would never be the same when she had to say good bye to Jackson. It was then that Jackson knew that he would love her a lifetime and he had to find Summer and profess his love for her. However, after an accident Jackson lost his memory and was blind. With no memory of Summer, he struggled to learn the identity of the nameless and faceless girl who haunted his memories.
Summer meets Jackson again and they are now adults. Nevertheless, Jackson has changed considerably. He is now blind, and unsure of who he is and appears to be a different person because of his loss of memory. Summer is unable to see the connection between the young Jackson and the matured Jackson when their paths cross.
