Emma Leigh Reedabout this book: Crashing Hearts was the first book I wrote. It is a journey through a single mom's life in dealing with a high-functioning autistic son. This story is near and dear to my heart as my own son is autistic. He is very high functioning and has overcome many obstacles to become the young man he is today. This particular story was very therapeutic for me to write. I wanted to share my experience with autism in hopes that this book will educate people as to the vastly unknown disorder.
Crashing Hearts brings learning how to trust in love again after being hurt so badly. We tend to build walls around our heart thinking we can protect ourselves. But we miss out on so much if we never allow ourselves to love.
I hope you enjoy this book. I love hearing from readers and will try to respond to any questions that come my way. Open your heart and love to the fullest each day.
