Book: Abigail and Mistletoe by Karen Rose Smith

Karen Rose Smithabout this book: When I watched a talk show about a trauma make-up cosmetologist, the idea for ABIGAIL AND MISTLETOE was born. I thought this would be a fantastic profession for a heroine. And it was. The more I researched the profession, my admiration and respect for it grew. Trauma make-up artists help burn victims, accident victims and others rediscover life by altering their appearance to look more "normal." My heroine Abigail, a compassionate woman, developed that compassion because of a childhood of being and feeling different.
Abigail doesn't just fall in love with the sexy Colorado lodge owner, a former stuntman, who has his own wounds to heal. But she realizes during this Christmas season that she can learn to trust again. She can give the gift of acceptance and find it for herself, too. This was an emotional book for me to write and I hope readers will take Abigail's journey with her as she finds true love.
