Book: Windswept Shores (A Survivors Love Story) by Janice Seagravescategories: Book, Bahamas, Survivors, Love, Sex, Contemporary Romance
Janice Seagravesabout this book: Inspired by Robinson Crusoe, Castaway, and Lost, Janice Seagraves began thinking about a story with a couple stranded on a deserted island and falling in love. Then her muse grabbed a hold of her and wouldn't let go.
The story came to life as the characters dictated their adventures to her. The hero became an Australian surfer with a thick Aussie accent, and just like Janice, the heroine is from California too. Her daughter named the hero, Seth. She liked the name, and as Janice learned more about the Australian accent, Seth became a tease.
Researching island groups lead Janice to the Bahamas, which are located just sixty miles off the coast of Florida, and are a separate country. With well over three hundred islands in that area, it's a good place to get lost in.
Mulling over the weather in the Bahamas, Janice thought there must be a lot of WINDSWEPT SHORES there.
After a quick google search, Windswept Shores was born.
