Mishael Wittyabout this book: This is a book about a woman, Trina, who goes home for the holidays and finds that her mother has invited Trina's ex-husband to join them for the festivities. This is especially hard on Trina because, the year before, she caught her ex-husband kissing her sister under the mistletoe. Worse yet, said sister is expected to make an appearance as well. Add a sexy ex-boyfriend into the mix, and this is a short little book full of twists and turns that will have you guessing right up to the end.
• Who are the primary readers of your book?
I wrote this book with the traditional romance reader in mind…namely, women…but I think that some men might find the story interesting, especially if they have an open mind.
• How long did it take to write it?
I wrote this and edited it in less than a month. Once I started, the words just seemed to flow so easily. I really didn't have to think about them at all. This story practically wrote itself!
• Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it?
Yes. This was my first attempt at writing a romance novelette, and I found out that I could, in fact, do it. I wasn't sure of my ability at first, but I proved to myself that I could. And, judging from the comments I've received about this story in its pre-published form and after it was released, it seems that I've done a fairly decent job.
• Here's an excerpt from one reader review:
"What a nice surprise Believe In Me turned out to be. It's a simple, engaging plot for a delightful easy read which I loved. … A very refreshing, warm and fuzzy little book which I would recommend." — Leigh Morano, author of Romance on the Bay
