Tobi Doyleabout this book: Sophie Schrader moves to San Francisco to be a head chef in her own kitchen as well as escape memories of a violent attack. She meets William Peterson, a billionaire with a knack for real estate. William is a Stanford dropout, workaholic, with some OCD tendencies and a definite need for control. Sophie is dealing with the ghosts of her past and trying to figure out what she really wants for her future, and worried that she could easily become just another object in his life, under his complete control.
Instead together they find that their imperfections make for a perfect love.

I tilted my head toward him. "Although, apparently, I caught the eye of some rich dude with a misguided sense of chivalry, and that has me a little worried." I ended with more honesty than I'd meant to.
"Some rich dude?" he asked dryly. "Misguided sense of chivalry?"
