Book: Country Girls by Karina Gioertz

Karina Gioertzabout this book: When I sat down to write Country Girls, I intentionally set out to write a book about women for women without even the slightest hint of romance in the storyline. Instead I wanted the story to focus on their strengths and the differect aspects of their relationships.
The main characters are three sisters ~ Emma, Eli and Evey Wilson. Even though they are each completely different in their personalities and desires, at their cores they remain true to the same thing, Family.
The sisters must find out if they are prepared for what would be their greatest battle yet as Pandora's Box is opened for the second time in 25 years. Would Evey be able to escape Preston's wrath? Would Emma be able to face the monsters of her past? Would Eli find a way to heal the scars that had not only bound her body but shackled her very soul? And, most importantly, would there be room amongst the skeletons to hide another body?
In the end, Country Girls evolved into a tale of a hidden past, a fateful present and an ambiguous future for three women who, even in the midst of disaster, never underestimate the power of sisterhood.
