Book Review: Tools For Teaching Discipline, Instruction, Motivation by Fred Jones, Patrick Jones, Jo Lynncategories: Books, Nonfiction, Education, Classroom Management
Authors: Fredric H. Jones, Patrick Jones, Jo Lynn
Publisher: Fredric H. Jones & Associates
Overrated, Waste of TimeI bought this book two years ago, read it and was disappointed with the amount of wasted space it has. This should not have been named tools for teachers, it looks more like the scenario of a play with lots of hypothetical situations where things go wrong and the teacher looses control, still YOU CAN'T FIND ANSWERS or solutions to these situations that are rather common.
The problem is that this book lists all known issues yet gives no valid "tools" to deal with them, describes boringly how it sounds when the teacher is being burnt out yet has no cure for the disease. In one simple sentence, Fred just doesn't cut the crap and gives you what you really need!
