Book: The Christmas Wish by Tori Scott

Tori Scottabout this book: The Christmas Wish grew out of a story I sold to Woman's World magazine several years ago. It was featured in the Christmas issue, but as an 1100 word short story I felt like there was more of the story to be told. Thus the novella was born.
Merry Peterson is far from home and missing her family. Though she's not a big fan of the commercialism and hype of Christmas, for her it's a time for family gatherings and love. But with a new job and limited funds, she can't afford to go home. Then she falls in Santa's lap--on a bus, of all places--and that's when she begins her journey to rediscover the magic of Christmas.
Jason Wells is a well-known, local new anchor who loves everything about Christmas. He works hard during the season to support charitable efforts like collecting toys for kids and playing Santa for the Children's hospital. But through Merry, Jason gets a chance to make his giving personal.
The Christmas wish is a 20,000 word novella.
