Maggie Tideswellabout this book: Audra had no business being in the mall on Christmas Eve, but she was compelled to go there. She had no last minute shopping to do, in fact she didn't have a single person she had to buy a gift for. As she entered the crowded mall, she told herself she was there for the sole purpose of seeing at least one Santa before going home.
Pushed forward by the stream of frantic last minute shoppers, Audra found herself face to face with Santa Claus. He was unlike any Santa she had ever seen. He was enormous, too young, and he had the greenest pair of eyes she had ever seen.
When Santa invited her to sit on his knee and whisper her Christmas wish in his ear, she was nearly as surprised as the man in red when she asked him for a man.
"Very difficult to gift wrap those, little lady. And the blighters refuse to keep still under the tree. How badly do you want one?" Audra couldn't get away fast enough. On her way home she forgot all about her silly encounter with Santa in the mall.
Until she found a beautiful man with the brightest green eyes on her doorstep, claiming to be her Christmas wish.
