Deb Lingabout this book: During the couple months leading up to my divorce, the Lord taught me His view of Submission. I was hurting and the Lord would not allow me to talk to my husband about what was bothering me. He said "No, you come to Me, daughter." So when I was upset, I would "sit" on Father God's "lap" and cry about the problems with my husband, who was slipping further and further away, staying out all night, drinking with his brother, and who knows what else.
What the Lord taught me during this dark time, was not anywhere near all the teachings I had previously heard on Submission. Man has that teaching twisted! God gave me His version as I went through this trying time.
My "Christian" husband left and divorced me. However, through it all, the Lord taught me the TRUE MEANING of Submission, a lesson I learned too late for my marriage. My hope is that this book will help other women learn the True Meaning of Submission, before it is too late for them. It truly is a blessing for women, when it is properly understood.
