Author Crystal Mary Lindseyabout this book: Living in a restricted household, Yasmin Dupont rebels and breaks free. A beautiful exotic young woman – she touches the heart of Doctor Roan Butler, who falls in love with her at first sight.

• What inspired you to write this book?
I was inspired to write this book because there are still many women today held captive by old subservient attitudes. I sought to pen a story about an intelligent woman who on liberation enjoys a rewarding profession and finds happiness.

• Who are the primary readers of your book?
This book will suit all ages. It's for the reader who desires inspiration knowing that although life can be a challenge, nothing is impossible.

• How long did it take to write it?
I took two months to write this book — I found the subject fascinating.

• How did you come up with the title?
The title came to mind as my heroine, Yasmin was like a caterpillar locked in a cocoon until she broke free and found her wings to fly.

Sociology is a fascinating subject because not all cultures think alike. Revolt can come when as in this story, traditions hold onto the old, refusing to amalgamate with the new.
