Barbara Hendersonabout this book: Five years have passed since Mal and Bell were married. After 'Choosing' Christ, Mal spends his life 'Walking' the Christian walk. Mal's radio program 'Bible World View', has done very well. He has listeners all over the world. His wife is very proud of him. His parents and sister are embarrassed because they believe Mal has been caught up in a cult, and that he spends 2 hours a day on the radio trying to pull other people into the same cult.
Mal's sister in law and sister have set their wedding date for the same day, and both expect Mal to be there. Mal feels sorry for himself, and manages to avoid both weddings with a rock solid excuse.
The war for the souls of his lost family members continues.
In both books Mal has angels of light who guard him and his family. Ann – now called AJ – still has her spirit guides Cabiri and Zisa.
When a family tragedy strikes Mal is horrified to realize he has not loved others as Christ loves them. Through all this, life goes on in Mal's life and in his sister's life.
The truth is that there are angels around us all the time. Some are working for our good. Others are angels of darkness who deceive and destroy. The angels are not specifically the focus of the Soul Wars Trilogy. They are just a part of life for the characters in the book just like they are a part of life for you and me.
