Diane Craverabout this book: I couldn't say goodbye to the characters in my Dreams of Plain Daughters Series, so they are also in my AMISH BABY SNATCHED novel, The Bishop's Daughters Series, Book 1. I enjoyed writing about Chloe Parrish, a new character, and the bishop's second daughter, Beth. The friendship between Chloe, an Englisher and happily married Beth is remarkable. Their backgrounds are so different, but they still find a lot to share with each other. Although Chloe is single and pregnant, Beth is understanding and listens to Chloe's problem in wanting to keep her baby.
Beth is not the only person who cares about Chloe, but young Dr. Tony Cunningham also takes an interest in her.
I did research for this book because of the medical aspect. Because of the tragic loss of a child in the book, I researched the topic of stillborn deliveries. Of course, I share how it is difficult for the family, but also is a hard situation for the nurse-midwife and doctor. They become involved with delivering babies because of the miracle of life. When a baby dies, it is sad for them too.
I appreciate Kim Jacobs for her patience with me in creating my cover for AMISH BABY SNATCHED. There are not many Amish images to buy from online sites to use for covers. I love the cover Kim designed.
