Book Review: The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit by Beatrix Potter
|1 star, 1 review|
Author: Beatrix Potter
It's awfulDo not read this book to a child. It's awful. The story starts out with a fierce rabbit looking like any other rabbit and he encounters another rabbit with a carrot. He aggressively steals the carrot by pulling the ears and shove which causes the rabbit to run and hide. A hunter with a rifle as long as his body sees the fierce bunny thinking it's a bird ... weird.
I'm waiting for the rabbit to be sad and sorry and what is the hunter there and the next page is a puff of smoke showing a puffy tail, wiskers, ears and carrot and nothing else. My four year old said "he was killed". Just awful. Do not read this to a child or buy. Disturbing. Very disturbing.
