about this book: Many of us have probably experienced some sort of inadequacy about ourselves. Some of the dissatisfaction arises from comparing ourselves to others. We forget that it takes all types to make the world. How a boring it would be if everyone looks the same and acts the same. With this children's ebook, "The Way We Are", I hope to teach the young minds to appreciate what they are endowed with and what they are capable of, and not to envy other people's looks or capabilities. So, the story goes that a rooster, a cow and a dog are not happy with certain parts of their bodies but fancy more impressive counterparts that they see in other animals. A kind fairy grants their wish, but did they become better off? This illustrated ebook is well suited for early elementary school grade children to read on their own. The original laments of the characters are expressed in simple rhymes, for which an audio file is provided via the Internet.
