Barbara Wosterabout this book: Last Christmas when we were searching for our Christmas tree, my daughter piped up from the back seat of the car and said, "What if there was such thing as a purple Christmas tree?" That, of course, sparked a brainstorming session between myself and both daughters on what that scenario would look like; which, in turn, led to this book. One of two really wonderful things about writing this book -- besides brainstorming with my two youngest -- is that they also assisted in the illustrations. The second neat thing is that my eldest daughter agreed to allow the use of her family as the characters in the book (a family affair). I promised my second oldest that my next book would have her as one of the main characters :-).
Anyway, we wanted to ensure that this book was written and ready for release before the onset of the Christmas Holiday, even though it would make a great read any time.
This book is a Juvenile Adventure meant for children ages 7 to 13; however, those adults who read it during the writing phase stated they also enjoyed it thoroughly.
