Alan Sparhamabout this book: My book took a total of two years. Although only Ten short stories writing for children is not easy.
I chose my story themes due to my educational background, and the fact that i have observed teenagers attitudes towards helping people, friendship, racism and bullying.
The book is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 12 years. My hope is that the stories are enjoyed but also the morals are understood and accepted by all. I would hope an adult or two may pick the book up and try to install these morals into their children.
My inspiration came from my daughter who was 7 years old at the time, and on the Isle of Whight. As a Scooterist I really wanted to fill a gap that was missing for children, I felt that they need somthing different away from the usual talking animal books or shows.
At the present time there are no books or shows dedicated to Scooters, or two wheels in general.
