categories: Book, Self Belief, Self Confidence, Strength, Unworthy, Vulnerable, Self Doubt, Anxiety, Self Esteem, Children's BookJames Minter

In the story, Billy is given an opportunity to act in the school play, but he tells himself he cannot do it. He convinces himself that he's not good enough, and that he'll never remember all the lines. His self-confidence deserts him. Rather he feels unsure of himself and vulnerable, and instead thinks of all the ways he can get out of playing any part.
Becoming a member of the stage crew, and attending all the rehearsals, unbeknown to him, he learns the lines for all parts. When his best friend Ant, who is due to play the lead role, has an accident, Billy finds that he has no option but to save the day and step into the role. By digging deep into his resources, and thinking like his superhero, he realises that he is capable, and that he does have the ability.
