Great Family Read Aloud Book Golden Tassel's GraduationI loved this story from page one till the end. It is 10 short chapters and a wonderful 'experience' in a summery cornfield, that you will enjoy with the interesting characters. They worry about drought, and the end when harvest nears, but they learn that the harvest is not really an end but the start of wonderful purpose for them. There are many inspirational lessons in the story that your child will just 'glean' out of it being read to them. VERY smart, educational, inspiring and fun book and that is why I give it a total 5-star rating. I hope this author puts more books out soon.
My cousin decided to read this book to her child with a brain tumor because he was nearing the end. It is a story that has so many lessons in hope, such as the characters finding out the harvest isn't the final end but a spring of hope. Grandma liked it too because of the lessons about not being wasteful! Really a story for all.
