Anat Umanksyabout this book: This sweet children's book is about all this little things that upset Geraldine the Giraffe and make her cry. Geraldine says:
"I don't cry over every little thing. But when bother some things happen, the tears just come by themselves, and I cry and cry until I have a little puddle of tears at my feet"
NOW WHAT TO DO?
Geraldine is lucky, cause her best friend, the funniest toad on earth, has always something smart to say about the situation… this toad also talks in rhymes, so … Geraldine always listens to her toad friend and learns many lessons:
How to be patient, how to express her emotions without the need to cry, how to understand that you cannot always get what you want and sometime it is good to compromise and much more….
I like very much to write children's stories about emotions. My stories are motivating the kids, inspiring them, make them think..
For years, I have been watching how(my young readers, and the kids who listened to my stories)developed, grew, matured, l earned to deal with emotions, solved problems and overcome obstacles. I do it by using situations I have taken from real life. I never forget to use humor, hope and faith; I really believe that these three notions are the fundamental stones for creating healthy, happy and strong kids - body and soul.
And yes, I always takes into consideration the adult, who shares the stories with the kids, either by choosing the book, by reading the stories, or just by being there watching the child.
Dear adults, watch my stories carefully, there will be always a massage for you too.
