Deborah Smith Fordabout this book: Allie Jean Anderson grew up on an apple farm, and even though very young she had chores and a strong sense of family as well. Allie learned to care for their pet dog Baron, to help her mom and dad around the house and barn and also to pick and eat apples right off their own trees. As she grows, Allie takes on more chores and even more adventures.
In this story, she moves to Florida, and later goes to Kenya, Africa with her parents to help them in their world of missionary work. Along the way, to and from Kenya by way of London, Allie learns more responsibilities as well as meeting and making new friends.
During Allie's travels, or even right in her own back yard, she learns how to help others. Enjoy following Allie as she helps those around her. Also enjoy this young girl's quest, as she continues on her travels - some nearby home, some not!
