Gloria Evans about this book: As a mother of six beautiful adopted children, each time I hear of another child being removed from their parents, I cringe. I know only too well the struggle this parent is about to go through, the absolute helplessness of it all and the unintentional mistakes they are about to make. If only I could talk to them, share my years of experience with them interacting with Child Protection Agencies and the Justice System; I know I could help them get their children back a lot sooner.
Reliving the biological parent's true stories as I was writing them down was difficult, but it had to be relatable. I started this book 3 years ago and tested it as a hub. The response was overwhelming, hundreds of people literally asking for help. It brought back memories of a little boy crying for his mother under his covers while outwardly trying to be brave for his little sister, after being told he would never go back to live with his mom again. The book is my way of helping parents in a really tough situation, often times without a support system and hopefully preventing other children from being permanently taken from their homes, by arming their parents with the information they need.
