L.K. Wattsabout this book: 'A Step Too Far' is my first fiction novel. I was inspired to write it after the success of my first two books in the: 'Secret Confessions of a Backpacker' series.
It is about a young woman who thinks she has everything in life. She is married and has a successful career. But an accident she endures on an exotic holiday changes all this and she is forced to step out of her comfort zone.
This book examines what life is like for someone who is forced to experience other opportunities in life whether they want to or not.
Although it is written with a serious message in mind, humour extensively runs throughout it. It is a light hearted, enjoyable read. A perfect novel for any woman, or man, to settle down with and read.
The books' title reflects a woman pushed to the brink of her sanity and will do anything to claw it back. I think the most difficult part of writing this was coming up with an ending that would do the book justice.
