Holly Patroneabout this book: Death Is A Relative Thing was published in 2011 after winning the Great American Novel Contest held by TAG Publishing. I started writing it because so many women claim they have no time to read. I wanted to create a story that would be fun, an escape, but not difficult to re-engage in if interrupted.
This is a fast paced laugh out loud book. It has been referred to as 'Chick Lit' although many men have read it and written to say how much they enjoyed it.
April Serao accidently killed her husband during birthday sex and has had a hard time finding a date ever since. Her mother, rocking cherry cola red hair and an inherited Sicilian Guilt trip skill set, talks April into seeing a psychic and contact is made with Sal, Aprils deceased husband. He needs her help.
What ensues is a crazy adventure with April trying to juggle her job, teenage sons, and a new relationship. Additionally, Sal's frequent and at times, inopportune (occasionally dressed in drag) visits pull her into a lighthearted mystery as she helps Sal earn his halo.
