David Prosser about this book: As my second book had been a form of prequel to the first and some readers (I didn't pay them honestly) were clamouring (OK, asking nicely) when they'd see the next one I wasn't sure what to do.
People had enjoyed both books but I'd got most pleasure from writing the second one. My wife suggested perhaps I could continue with the first, after all I'd sort of left it hanging where she'd volunteered me for a job I didn't want. After I'd done that, if I felt like it I could do another one where I'm still an Envoy to the Queen as I still had a couple of years to play with up to the first book starting. I thought this was a really good idea because she told me it was and so book 3 the imaginatively named More Barsetshire Diary, was born. I continue the tale of being enveigled into spending time with a woman I can't stand and working to help her.I'm busy with that when Triple D or Diana the Dowager Duchess of Cheam asks Lady J for help, and somehow that job ends up in my lap too.Of course our every day lives continue as well ans my wallet takes a battering as usual.( We're undergoing divorce proceedings but I refuse to carry a purse).
I lacked a bit of faith in this one but the laughter down the hall was no less and The Baron who is not what you'd call a reader told me it was as good as the others which to that point I didn't know he'd read. My US friend (Ilil Arbel - Author) did her usual marvelous job of formatting the book and putting it on Lulu.com for me and on Kindle via Amazon. She's been a great help and encouragement. Now as for many other indie writers it's a case of making sales and making people smile. I'd like both but will settle for the latter.
