Diana Lesire Brandmeyerabout this book: Blending a family shouldn't be hard. At least that's what I thought. It seemed like it would be fine, I loved his son he loved mine. And of course we loved each other.
Less than two weeks after the wedding I realized this wasn't the family I thought we would have. And the worst part was I had no one I could talk to. So what happened? Why did I feel like I should pack up, stick my two sons in the van and head back to my house.
It wasn't until later--to late that I discovered I wasn't the only mom who had these problems. That's why I wrote this book, to help moms in blended families. I don't want any mom to feel the way I did.
It's not just my story because I wanted you to walk away with tips on how to improve your blended family. I asked Marty C. Lintvedt, a licensed, nationally certified professional counselor space after each chapter to break down the behaviors in my family in order to help others know what to do that works and what doesn't.
