Book: It's Not Your Journey by Rebecca Ann Lombardo

Rebecca Ann Lombardoabout this book: This book is my memoir and it details my life with bipolar disorder as well as my recovery from a suicide attempt. It took me 2 years to write and because I lived it, I didn't need to do a lot of research. I was inspired to write the book by the people that have followed my blog for the last 2 years. Many people came forward to tell me that my writing was helping them realize that they were not alone or that they needed to speak to someone about what they were going through. The hardest part would have to be reliving some memories that were extremely painful, like my mother's death. I am not a medical professional, just a mental health advocate that hopes that her experiences will help people. My book is a cautionary tale, but also offers advice to people that might be on the same path. I've never claimed to be an expert. I'm not perfect, but if what I've been through can help even 1 person, I'll be happy with my decision to come forward.
