K. Blueabout this book: This book started out to be a gift to my family. I wanted to document our family stories. You know…the stores that are told at every family gathering…the kind of stores that evolve over the years, and become like old friends, comforting and nostalgic?
When I started to write, I began to realize that the stores were so much more than just a history of our family. The experiences I wrote were the building blocks of the person I am today. Lessons learned, mistakes made, they were all a part of growing and living.
When I asked several friends to look over the book and provide feedback I was surprised to hear how much they loved the book. What started out to be for just for my family, turned out to be something that a lot of people could identify with. The stories made them connect with their past, and think of lessons they had learned. It brought home to me that we are all more alike than we may think.
So with that in mind, I ask that you give this book a chance. If you find that it reminds you of something from your past…a lesson learned…be sure to Share Your Wisdom at my website.
I am posting positive uplifting stories to the blog submitted by readers, just like you. I hope you share your story with me and all the others who experience Ordinary Wisdom.
