Trina Bresser Matousabout this book: Walking through doors God opens is the best way I can describe writing this book series. In 2007, the associate pastor at my church asked me to write notes to accompany our read through the Bible in a year program. Almost two years after starting, I had written my way through the entire Bible. I thought I was done with the project, but God had other plans.
God next opened the door for me to attend a writers' conference. I was excited to attend, though hardly believed the testimonial from an attendee whose first day contact led to a contract to publish her book. I wasn't nearly so skeptical when a contact I made the first day led to my own publishing contract!
God recently opened another door when my book won the 2015 Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award.
Through Bible Study classes, speaking engagements and mentoring, I have enjoyed encouraging people in their walk with Christ. What an honor to be able to encourage greater understanding of God's magnificent love for His people through this book.
