Adam Filippiabout this book: MASTERING THE ART OF FREE THROW SHOOTING (foreword by Hall of Fame Coach Hubie Brown) is the first instructional book to address the most unique part of the game of basketball.
After the success of my first book SHOOT LIKE THE PROS (2011 - foreword by Hall of Fame Player Jerry West), I decided to focus more on the free throw as I consider it the "mother" of all shots and fundamental in order to master both proper technique and the mental approach to become a great shooter.
During the two years it took to write and publish this book, I managed to convert at least 100 consecutive free throws every day.
MASTERING THE ART OF FREE THROW SHOOTING covers all aspects of the free throw shot and includes instructional photos, coaching tips, personal experiences, drills etc.
As a longtime NBA scout/coach, it is my goal to direct both players and coaches of all levels to understand how to design a program for improvement at the free throw line.
