Book Review: Coming to America - A Journey of Faith by Dr. Eric Tangumonkem

Dr. Eric Tangumonkemabout this book: I had an epiphany in a meeting in 2002 and felt that God was asking me to go to the United States of America for graduate studies. Before then, I had never nursed the thoughts of going to America because, America was too far from home and getting into graduate school was not a piece of cake either. To make matters worse I was newly married, living in a slump in the capital and had less than a hundred dollars in an account.
All these obstacles did not stop me. I went ahead and applied for admission into the University of Texas at Dallas, the admission was granted, but without any scholarships or grant for me to come study.
I told my friends and family that I was going to the United States to study and some said I was nuts and that it was impossible. Well, I grabbed a single suitcase boarded a plane and came to the United States without money to pay for my degree. I stepped out in faith believing that God was going to take care of me since, He asked me to move to the United States.
I wrote the book, to tell my story so that it will inspire, equip and motivate others to find their God given dreams and pursue them. Check it out and your life will be impacted in a profound way.
